1. Please make all corrections and submit two new complete sets of prints, to:
Esgil Corporation, 9320 Chesapeake Drive, Suite 208, San Diego, California 92123,
(858) 560-1468.
2. All plan documents shall be legible including mfg. cut sheets, ICC evaluation
report(s), single line drawing(s), etc.
3. All sheets of plans must be signed by the person responsible for their preparation.
(California Business and Professions Code).
4. Provide a statement on the Title Sheet of the plans, stating that this project shall comply
with the 2007 California Building Code, which adopts the 2006 IBC, 2006 UMC. 2006
UPC and the 2005 NEC.
5. Provide a fully dimensioned site plan drawn to scale. Sec. A 106.1.1. Please include the
following:
a) North arrow.
b) Streets/alleys.
c) Property lines/easements (ground mounted systems only).
d) Existing and proposed buildings and structures (ground mounted systems only).
6. Clearly dimension building setbacks from property lines, street centerlines, and from all
adjacent buildings and structures on the site plan. Sec. A 106.1.1.
7. Explain in the "Scope of Work" and show in the plans all structures and equipment
included with this project. Any portion of the project shown that is not that is not part of
this project should be clearly identified as "not included." Sec. A106.1.1.
8. Provide the manufacturers specifications for the PV Module(s), lnverter(s), disconnect(s),
gutter(s), and sub-panel(s) and any other system equipment proposed to be installed in
this system. Sec. A 106.1.1.
• GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
9. Show the location of all equipment, PV arrays, junction box(s), combiner box(s),
disconnect(s), lnverter(s), panelboards and services.
10. Show how the conductors will be run from the array to the main panel. Call out the type
of conductor/cable to be used.
11. Include on the single line diagram voltage, conductor description (number and sizing),
overcurrent device sizing, grounding design, equipment layout, and service fuse
description (size and layout).
12. Call out on the plans the number and size of all conductors from each output circuit or
series connected panel, inverter input circuit and inverter output circuit to the main panel.
Describe the wiring methods to be used. Be sure to show compliance with NEC Article
690.31 for approved cable types.

13. Show/call out the ampere rating of overcurrent devices in circuits supplying power to the
main panel busbar. The sum of the ampere ratings of the overcurrent devices shall not
exceed 120 percent of the rating of the busbar. Include all existing main service
disconnect sizing to verify compliance with NEC 690.64.
