processing, corrected sets can be submitted in one of two ways:
1. Deliver all corrected sets of plans and calculations/reports directly to the City of Carlsbad Building
Department, 1635 Faraday Ave., Carlsbad, CA 92008, (760) 602-2700. The City will route the plans to
EsGil Corporation and the Carlsbad Planning, Engineering and Fire Departments.
2. Bring one corrected set of plans and calculations/reports to EsGil Corporation, 9320 Chesapeake
Drive, Suite 208, San Diego, CA 92123, (858) 560-1468. Deliver all remaining sets of plans and

690.15. The plans provided are showing the AC disconnect inside of the House and
the Inverter outside. Please clearly show on plans the A/C disconnecting means at
an outside location adjacent to the inverter.
4. Please provide compliance with the 2013 CRC section R331 section R331.4 for access
and pathways for the PV array. Provide 36 inches from a ridge, and 18 inches from a hip
or valley (on each side) at the following locations:
a). Ridge at array 1 and array 3.
b). Hip between arrays 1 and 2, on the side facing array 2.
c). Valley between arrays 1 and 3, on the side facing array 1.
The response provided for this correction reads as follow: "WILL OBTAIN PROPER
VARIANCE FROM FIRE DEPARTMENT". According to the correction response
provided the original correction is still applicable.
