UBC Section 304 requires the Building Official to determine the total value of all construction work proposed under this permit. The value shall include all finish work, painting, roofing;. electr~cal, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, elevator, fire extinguishing systems . and any other permanent equipment. Please provide a signed copy of the designer's or contractor's construction cost estimate of all work proposed. Provide a note on the plans indicating if any hazardous materials will be stored and/or used within the building which exceed the quantities listed in UBC Tables 9-A and 9-B. A complete description of the activities and processes that will occur in this tenant space should be provided. A listing of all hazardous materials should be included. The materials listing should be stated in a form that would make classification in Tables 9-A and 9-B ;-ossible. The building official may require a technical report to . identify and develop methods of protection from hazardous materials. Section 901(f).
