Retail: 9,334 sf
1. First 1,000 sf= 8 ADT

Mr. Collins:
In response to field request dated 11/8/2019 and a subsequent discussion with you via telecon,
my office has directed the General Contractor to implement the following field adjustments:
1. At the existing grade beam, place the new grade beam on top of the existing and
increase the width to mee dimensions call for in the approved plans. Please see the
attached sketch.
2. Where the 3'-6" spread footings are being placed there are wall footings within that
space. General Contractor is to excavate beneath the footing and underpin with
additional concrete and maintain the dimesions of the spread footings as called for in
the approved plans.
Upon my visual observation, the contractor has properly modified the foundation conditions
noted above and bring remedy the foundation conflicts. Please call me with any questions or
concerns; your keen eyes and experience on the jobsite are invaluable and welcomed.
Sincerely
Christopher Francis AIA
