According to our files the above referenced permit has expired as of April 11, 1989.
The Building Department records show that the last inspection on the work
performed under the above-mentioned permit was on September 23, 1988. At that
time the work did not receive an approval, and corrections needed to be made so
that the next inspection could be performed. There has been no further
inspections or requests for inspections after that date; therefore, the,permit
has expired in accordance with the Uniform Building Code adopted by Carlsbad Municipal Code Section 18.04.010.
The Uniform Building Code, Section 303(d) states, "That every permit issued by the Building Official under the provisions of this Code shall expire by limitation, and become null and void if the building or work authorized by such permit is not commenced within 180 days from the date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180 days. Before such work can be
