1. Complete landscape plans must be submitted for our approval within (30) days after
start of construction. Plant list must include type and size of trees and shrubs,

Gentlemen:
This is to report the results of tests to determine the moisture contents of the soils in the
upper three feet below finished grade in the proposed building area at the subject site in
Carlsbad, California.
Samples were initially obtained on October 14, 1977 and the results indicated thot the
moisture contents of the subgrade soils were less than required prior to pouring concrete footings
and slabs. Additional samples were obtained on November 1, 1977 after additional water had
been added to the soils.
The results of the final moisture determinations are presented as follows:

It is concluded frcm the field observations of the various soil types and the final results
of the moisture determinations that the soils in the upper 2.3 to 3.0 feet below finished
grade at the locations sampled have been sufficiently moistened to minimize the potential
expansion of the soils as recanmended in wr ropat under Project No. 71-2-241), dated
September 1, 1971.

HIS AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE, MUST NOTIFY THE DISTRICT AT THE TIME INSPECTION IS DESIRED.
ANY CONNECTION MADE TO THE SERVICE LATERAL OR COLLECTION LINE WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL AND
INSPECTION BY THE DISTRICT WILL BE CONSIDERED INVALID AND WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED.
After connection is complete, the property described above is subject to a monthly
sewer service charge, billed bi-monthly in advance. The rate will be governed by the
use of the property, single family, multiple dwelling or commercial.. Non-payment of
the sewer service charge is subject to a 5% penalty per month, plus disconnection if
necessary.
