I observed the epoxy process of (2) 5/8" all thread rods Into the (E) concrete as noted below.
Epoxy product: Simpson SET XP, #F1271F1652, exp. 10/19.
Locations: (2) HDU2 hold downs at (E) garage wall.
Hole diameters: 3/4".
Effective embedment: 9" per det. 3/SD.1
Note: All holes were drilled with a rotary hammer drill and carbide lipped bit, then brushed with a nylon brush and blown out with
compressed air until dust free prior to injecting the epoxy. The entire procedure meets or exceeds plan details and ESR-2508
requirements.
No discrepancies were observed or noted.
All work is subject to City of Carlsbad approval.
