Gentlemen:
This is to report the resulk of tests and observations made in order to inspect the compaction
of filled ground ploced in the proposed building ore0 on Lot 589 of La Casta Meadows Unit
No. 4 in Carlsbod, California.' The'fill wos ploced'on June 17 and 18, 1981.
The approximate area and depth of filled ground placed under our inspection'in accordance
with the approved specifications ore shown'on the'attached Drawing No. 1, entitled
"Locotion of Compacted Filled Ground." .The groding plon used for the placement of filled
ground, dated December 11, 1980, was preparod by Brion Smith Engineers.

ploced at 90 percent of the maximum dry density or grcoter. It has been determincd that
the fill moteriols, compocted to 90 percent of the maximum dry density, hqvc a safe bearing
value of 1,930 pounds per square foot for one foot wide continuous footings founded at least
1.5 feet below the lowest odjoccnt compocted filled ground surface and within the limits
of the proposed.building shown on Drawing No. 1.

To Whom It May Concern:
We, Dennis ,R. and Jocelyn E. Gilbert, residing.at 2750 Argonauta Street,
Carlsbad, California, agree to an addition proposed by Gary and Cindy Winter
to 2748 Argonauta Street, Carlsbad, California, provided that:
1. The proposed plans, drawlngs, and specifications which affect the
exterior design and/or materials of the building and which are approved by
the San Diego County Building Department and/or the City of Carlsbad Building
Department will be presented to the Gilberts for their written approval to
be noted by their signatures on the plans 'approved by the pertinent building
department before construction begins.
2. If during the construction process any changes to the originally
approved.plans, drawings and/or specifications affecting the exterior of the
building on any side seem desirable or necessary, .the proposed change(s) will
be presented to the Gilberts in writing for their written approval before
construction continues.

3. An addendum to this agreement outlining the further agreements
between the Winters and the Gilberts will be presented to the Winters by
February 7, 1992, for their approval and construction may not begin until
all parties are in agreement to this addendum as witnessed by their notarized
signatures.
