Mr Gary Potter of Smith Consulting Architects requests me to handle the structural revisions
in letter format Ten of the fourteen buildings we just recently pulled building permits have
been revised to accommodate the final approved Grading Plans The mam structural
revisions are the top of footing elevations Some of the footings were lowered in order to
accommodate the adjacent finish grade elevations and as a result of lowering the footings,
we were also required to lengthen the panels
The following building footings have been lowered by one foot and panel length increased
by one foot

• Building K-
• Building L-
• Building M
- West side, North side (West end) and South side (West end)
- East side, North side (East end), and South side (East end)
- Entire Perimeter
- East side, North side (East end), and South side (East end)

South side (middle portion) and North side (middle portion)

At the west, east and north side of Building I footings have been lowered by two feet and
subsequently the panel length increased by two feet
At the north (west end) and west (north end) side of Building K, and west side of Building L
have been lowered by three feet and subsequently the panel length increased by three feet
Building L footing along East side was raised by two feet and panels were shortened by two
feet
It is our opinion that either lowering and raising the footing elevations did not alter the
structural design intent since the first floor concrete slab on grade elevations have not been
changed
