UBC Section 107.2 requires the Building Official to determine the total value of all construction work proposed under this permit. The value shall include all finish work, painting, roofing, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, elevator, fire extinguishing systems and any other permanent equipment. Please provide a signed copy of the designer's or contractor's construction cost estimate of all work proposed. 5. On the first sheet of the plans indicate the occupancy classification is group B office and group S1 storage. 6. Provide a note on the plans indicating if any hazardous materials will be stored and/or used within the building which exceed the quantities listed in UBC Tables 3-D and 3-E. 7. Show safety glazing material for the existing storefront glass adjacent to the new conference door 5 per Section 2406.4. 8. Recheck the new interior partitions: a) ICBO report 3403 only lists a 20 gage 6" metal stud (25 gage 6" studs are not listed). · b) Provide lateral support for the 6' high partition walls adjacent to all wall openings. 9. Note on the plans: "All interior finishes must comply with Chapter 8 of the UBC". 10. Note on plan that suspended ceilings shall comply with UBC Tables 25-A, 16-0 and 16-8. 11. All exit signs in the offices should direct the flow of traffic to the two front office doors (do not direct traffic to the warehouse). 15. Clarify the scope of work on the plans. Per conversation with the applicant, the structural· plans (exterior wall sections, roof framing, etc. were provided for reference only). 16.
