Foundation:
1) There will be a small footing around the entire perimeter - approx. 8 inches by 8
inches.
2) All post footings will bel6xl6x!6 inches.
3) Will use #3 rebar in slab @ 24 inch on center
4) Slab pitch 1 to 2 inch pitch total away from family room and kitchen (patio has
solid roof)
Lumber:
1) -AlLpost will.be~6-x,6 posts.(~5 places) —
2) The Main Beam will be 6 x 8 (8 foot post spacing & 12 foot post spacing )
3) The rafters will be4x6 (16 foot span) @ 24 inch on center.
4) Stucco removed exposing top plate framing. Ledger board installed with lags to
house framing. Rafters to sit on ledger and attached to house/ledger with Simpson
H3 brackets. Simpson face mount hangers to attach rafter to 6 x 8 main beam on
other end.
Connections: ( all Simpson part numbers )
1) Post to concrete Simpson part no. CBSQ66.
2) Main Beam to Post CCQ66-SDS2 (3 places ) and ECCQ66-SDS2 ( 2 places )
