-3 Working days prior to trenching to arrange pre-meet with inspector and initiate trenching process.
-After excavation of trench, installation of conduit and service entrance equipment at meter location, CALL FOR INSPECTION. Do
not cover conduit without inspector's written approval to backfill.
-When trench is backfilled and compacted, CALL FOR INSPECTION.
-If service entrance equipment is installed after backfill, CALL FOR INSPECTION OF THE EQUIPMENT.
3. Meter cannot be set until inspector has approved installation, including service equipment, and receipt of city/county/state inspection

To minimize the electrical outage, you are advised to schedule a morning disconnect with an afternoon reconnect. There is no charge
for this service. Before you change out your meter consider (1) SDG&E needs advance notice to schedule a crew and
(2) SDG&E will not reconnect the service without municipal approval on the new panel. Please contact the City/County regarding
permits and inspections.
City/County inspection should be received prior to 2:00 p.m. on the same day as the disconnection of service to allow the SDG&E
crew enough time for reconnection of the service on the same day.
If SDG&E encounters hazardous or toxic material while performing construction of your project, SDG&E will halt work immediately and it will
be your responsibility to remove and or clean up all hazardous or toxic material prior to SDG&E continuing construction. SDG&E shall have no
liability or obligation whatsoever to cleanup, remove or remediate any hazardous or toxic materials discovered during the course of
construction unless it is through negligence of SDG&E.
Customer-owned facilities to receive gas service are subject to all applicable local and state of California inspection authority requirements.
Building address and/or houseline must be permanently identified prior to meter set. Information on this sheet is void after six (6) months.

Crew cancellation policy: Should the customer or outage requestors cancel the crew work within 24
hours of the schedule date or on~site, the requestor will be billed a non~refundable fee for SDG&:E's
efforts.
These charges must be paid prior to rescheduling SOT projects.
Fee for cancelling service order work with less than 24 hour notice is $369.
Fee for cancelling service order work after the crew has left the yard is $926.
Security deposit for contractors who repeatedly cancel outages is $369.
You will be interested to know that your service order to serve the above project is now ready to begin the
construction process. Please feel free to call your Service Coordinator, MAY DELEON, at 760 476 5614 to
discuss the need to schedule a "disconnect/reconnect" or an appointment with our crew. Your Service
Coordinator can explain when a "disconnect/reconnect" or crew appointment is required. There is no
charge for this service.
When applying for the permit or calling your SDG&E Service Coordinator, please reference the Related
Job Notification(s) and Location listed above. If your project needs to have a "disconnect/reconnect",
be sure to advise the municipality that this is a "DISCONNECT/RECONNECT -OUTAGE
INVOLVED." This will help assure that your City/County inspection is completed in a timely manner in
order to minimize the electrical outage. Please verify the address on your permit matches the address
above; otherwise, please notify us immediately.
To minimize the electrical outage, you are advised to schedule a morning disconnect with an
afternoon reconnect Please consider SDG&E requires advance notice to schedule a crew. Also,
City/County inspection must be received prior to 2:00 p.m. on the same day as the disconnection of
service to allow SDG&E crews enough time for reconnection of service on the same day. SDG&E is
unable to reconnect the service without receipt of inspection on the new panel.
You are also reminded, as the electrician or party scheduling the disconnection, you are responsible for
notifying the occupant of when the outage is to take place.
Please Note: Requesting revisions to your service order will require a re-design fee.
