All corrections are typical corrections which may not be specified on key plans. Verify all locations as described.
Many anchor bolts at shear walls were missing at the time of observation. Verify all anchor bolts are installed per
shear schedule. Install minimum 2-anchor bolts in each sill plate at exterior, stem wall or slab step. Where shear
wall around opening occurs, anchor bolts must be continuous below opening per detail 1SD5 and anchor bolt
schedule.
Where pipes run vertical through slab and create a greater than 6" hole (including tub drains) in slab, refer to
detail 16/SD! for added reinforcement.
At tie beam to PT slab intersection, tie beam and reinforcement shall continue into slab for 31-0" per 23/SD1 and
then slope up at 1:1 slope.
Verify popouts similar to box columns that are not part of PT slab are per 25/SD1 with the same depth as the tie
beams.
Verify all embedment depths on hold-down anchors per 8/SDI. Also verify any added reinforcement in footings at
all hold-downs per 8/SD!.
Verify horizontal and vertical reinforcement in stem walls per detail 23/SD1.
Verify correct hold-down anchor size is installed per plan.
At garage front shear walls, install added shear tie reinforcement per 21/SD5. Shear ties shall be 4" O.C. in curb
per detail. Install U shaped bar where missing.
At many stem wall, curb and box column locations, horizontal rebar at top is not placed near top of curb. Rebar
must be located near top of curb/stem wall/box column at all locations.
Install missing hold-down anchor per plan.
Install anchor bolts per anchor bolt schedule below opening at shear wall per 1SD5.
Verify slab depth of 13" minimum is maintained at building steps. Refer to 21/SD1.
Install vertical reinforcement per 21SD1 at curbs taller than 10" above finished floor at PT slabs.
14. Threaded rods were installed at HDQ8 hold-down locations. At non-interior locations, install 33" square pad
footings per 8/SDI with #5 at 12" O.C. each way at bottom. In leiu of threaded rods, SSTB hold-downs may be
used per schedule on 8/SD!.
CONTRACTOR SHALL CORRECT ALL OBSERVED DEFICIENCIES. Once all items listed above have been properly
