Footing excavations generally extend to proper depth and bearing strata, and are in general conformance with recommendations of !he geotechnical report. A representative of GeoSoils, Inc. reviewed footing setbacks from slope face (if applicable). The setback was in general accordance with the recommendations of the geotechnical report. Notes to Superintendent/Foreman 3. 4. Footing excavations should be cleaned of loose debris and thoroughly moistened just prior to placing concrete. Based on expansion potential of underlying soils, presoaking of soil below slabs may be recommended. Consult the geotechnical report for presoaking recommendations.
