The clear space shall extend a maximum of 19" underneath the sink. Section 11 B-606.2. The accessible sink shall be mounted with the àounter or rim no higher than 34" above finish floor. Knee clearance that is at least 27" high, 30" side and 19" underneath the sink shall be provided. Hot water and drain shall be insulated or otherwise configured so as to protect against contact.
