A complete description of the activities and processes that will occur in this tenant space should be provided. A listing of all hazardous materials should be included. The materials listing should be stated in a form that would make classification in Tables 307.7(1) and 307.7(2) possible. The building official requires a technical report to identify and develop methods of protection from hazardous materials. Section 307.7. I did not receive a Hazardous Materials report a High Piled Storage report was provided. Please provide a Hazardous Material report. 4. Please provide the UL listing and manufacturer's installation information for all new equipment to be installed in the manufacturing and laboratories. Show all electrical requirements, plumbing requirements, exhaust or mechanical requirements, operational weight, anchorage and seismic restraints if required etc. Section 107.2. A deferred submittal for the equipment will be possible for the equipment listings yet the equipment schedule indicate several pieces of equipment that should be directly addressed on the plans and in the Hazardous Materials report. Panels A, A 1 and A2 have now become MSN, MSL 1 and MSL2 yet the feeders breakers in the panels still show A, A1 and A2? The panels do not appear to match such as panel MSN is shown as a 400 amp panel yet the feeders on the single line and the panel schedule are for 200 and 175 amps? Panel MSL 1 is shown as a 200 amp pan~ls yet is feed with conductor for 400amps? 17. Please provide the sheet notes for sheet E1 .2. The single line has several inconsistencies, please correct. Is panel B a 100 amp being feed with conductor for 400 amps? The single line for panel MSN shows 175 amp over-current device with a 183 amp load? The main shown on the single line and the panel schedule are not consistent. The conductors for the transformer are not correct same size conductor on the primary and secondary side? 19. Please provide load calculations for panels A, A 1 and A2. Please clarify the panel schedule that is not identified? 31. Please revise the plans to show the insulation per the energy forms. I was unable to locate on the plans the insulation required in the new conditioned floor area for the manufacturing areas that previously non- conditioned? 36. Please revise the plans to show the non-commercial kitchen sink in the employee staff room (both sinks in 142 and 111) to provide the following: Show all new constructed sink to be compliant. a) A clear floor space at least 30"x 48" shall be provided for forward approach. b) The clear space shall extend a maximum of 19" underneath the sink. c) The accessible sink shall be a maximum of 6 ½" deep. d) The sink shall be mounted with the counter or rim no higher than 34" e) Knee clearance that is at least 27" high, 30" side and 19" underneath the sink shall be provided. · f) Hot water and drain shall be insulated. g) There shall be no sharp or abrasive surfaces under sinks. 39. Please revise the plans to show the urinals in restrooms 120 and 208 to provide the required extra maneuvering clearance with the side screens extend equal to or greater than 24". The plans still show the screens 24" therefore the 36" is required. 40. Please revise the plans to show restrooms 102 and 104 serving the area of improvement in the sales area to be fully disabled accessible. Still do not provide the required clearances in front of the water closet for maneuvering. City of Carlsbad 11-1108 6/21/11 41. If the water closet compartment has an end-opening door (facing the water closet in restrooms 119 and 120), the door shall be located on a diagonal to the water closet, with a maximum stile width of 4 inches (see the figure below). Additionally, the door must be provided with a clearance of at least 18" at the strike side. The end opening compartments are required to provide the required 60" in the direction of the door swing per section 1133B.2.4.2 and 1133B.2.4.3. 42. The door into the accessible water closet compartment shall be provided with a clearance of at least 18" at the strike side of the door, per Section 11158.3.1.4.5. Additionally, such doors shall have a clear space of not less than 48" as measured at right angles to the door in its closed position. Please correct women's restroom 207. 43. Show that the minimum strike edge distances are provided at the level area on the side to which a door swings for restroom 148, per Section 11338.2.4.3: a) ~18" at interior conditions. Please revise the door swing in restroom to provide the required 48" on the push side.
