as described in said Deed recorded April 6, 1965, Document No. 60305.
GRANTORS hereby grant to the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, Sta
of California, the privilege and right to extend and maintain embankmen
slopes at a ratio of 1 1/2 horizontal to.1 vertical, excavation slopes
a ratio of 1 horizontal to 1 vertical, and drainage structures beyong t
limits of said adjacent public hhghway, where and to the extent require
for the support, drainage and maintenance of said public highway, over
and across the lands owned by Grantors adjacent to said public highway,
lying and being in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of
California, and particularly described as follows,. to wit:
That portion of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Secti
32, Township 11 south, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian,
lying southerly and easterly of the southerly and easterly line of Cal:
ornia State Highway XI-SD-78, described in Deed recorded April 6, 1965
as Document No. 60305 in the Office of the Recorder of said County of
San Diego,
RESERVING unto the Grantors and subsequent owners of said adjacent Ian
on which such slopes or drainage structures shall be situated, the rig
at any time (a) to remove such slopes, drainage structures or portions
thereof upon removing the necessity for maintaining such slopes, drain
structures or portions thereof, or (b) upon providing in place thereof
other adequate lateral and subjacent support, the design and construct
of which shall be first approved by the City of Carlsbad of the Count)
San Diego for the protection and support: of said highway.
