-,the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has, by Ordinance No.7016, .
expressed its intention to vacate that portion of Ocean Street,Carlsbad,California, ..
hereafter described ; and .
WHERF2S,notices of intention of vacation of said street have been posted pur-
suant to law; and
AIHHZEBS,hearing has been held by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at
7t00 o'clock p.m, en the 3rd day of March,l953,at its regular meeting place,and
no objections having been expressed at that time ,
THEXEFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,Califonia,
that the public interest and convenience of the City require that the following
work be done at the time and in the manner hereinafter prescribed.
NOW THEREFOFtE,said Council hereby orders that,
That portion of Carlsbad,in the City of Car&sbad,County of San DiegoiState. of California,according to Map thereof No.365,filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County,February 2,1887,being a' portion of Ocean Street, formerly California State Highway Division VI1,Route 2,described as followst Beginning at a point in the Southwesterly prolongation of the Southeasterly line of Block 14 of said Carlsbad,distant thereon South 55degrees 27' West 69.56 feet from the most southerly corner of said Block L$,being the most Easterly corner of that portion of Ocean Street vacated and closed to public use by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of San Diego County,a copy of which was filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mego County,January 14,1948,as Document No. 4076,in Book 2614,page 255;thence along the Southeasterly.prolongation of the Northeasterly line of said closed portion of Ocean Street,South 30 degrees 56' 20" East to the Southwesterly prolongation of the center line of Oak Street as shown on said map No.365,and the beginning of a tangent 25.80 foot radius curve ,concave westerly; thence Southerly along said curve 24.20 feet through an angle of 53 degrees 44'36" to a point of reverse curvature witha 25.80 foot radius curve concave Easterly; thense Southerly along said curve 24.01 feet through an angle of 53 degrees 19'16" to the intersection of the Southwesterly prolongation of the Northwesterly line of Block 19 of Carlsbad with the Southwesterly line of said Ocean Street;thence along said Southwesterly line of Ocean Street,North 30 degrees 31r lest 80.16 feet to said Southwesterly prolongation of the Southeasterly line of Block 14;thence along said Southwesterly prolongation,North 55 degrees 27' East to the point of beginning,
be vacated from public use and title to the land 'previously subject thereto revert
to the respective owners thereof free from the public easemen% for street purposes.
It is further ordered that the respective owners who accept title of that
vacated portion degcribed above shall cause the street ,curb,and drainage facilities
to be restored in a workmanlike fashion ,said restomtion to be subject to the
approval of the Public Norks ilirector of the City of Carlsbad,
It is further ordered that the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
order attested by the Clerk be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the
County of San Diego,
