2. ALL TESTS AND INSPECTIONS SHALL BE PERFORMED BY AN INDEPENDENT TESTING AND
INSPECTION AGENCY EMPLOYED BY THE OWNER OR ARCHITECT AND NOT THE CONTRACTOR PER
SECTION 1704. 1.
3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING A SCHEDULE TO THE TEST AND
INSPECTION FIRM TO FACILITATE THE PROPER COORDINATION OF WORK. .,
4. THE SPECIAL INSPECTOR MUST BE CERTIFIED BY THE GOVERNING JURISDICTION IN THE CATEGORY
OF WORK REQUIRED TO HAVE SPECIAL INSPECTION.
5. THE SPECIAL INSPECTIONS IDENTIFIED ON PLANS ARE IN ADDITION TO, AND NOT A SUBSTITUTE
FOR, THOSE INSPECTIONS REQUIRED TO BE PERFORMED BY A CITY'S BUILDING INSPECTOR.
