e e·r 10Ft. Extruded Ku Perforated "Butterfly Rib" Four-Piece Antenna ____________ _ Constructed with high strength aluminum, the Extruded Ku Perf "Butterfly Rib" Antenna offers top-of-the-line craftsmanship in a simple, four-piece design. Preformed aluminum panels and extrud- ed support ribs provide a highly rigid and stable surface, insuring outstanding C/Ku-band reception and rugged, long-life durability. EXTRUDED RIBS Twenty extruded support ribs made with high quality T-5 aircraft aluminum create a clean, smooth surface appearance and accentu- ate the antenna's attractive see-through characteristics. Each individ- ual dish panel is preformed to the parabolic curve for an impressive focal point to diameter ratio of 004. In addition, specially designed cradle brackets provide a strong dish to mount attachment. UMATCHED KU-BAND PERFORMANCE An 18-gauge circular support ring extending through each rib extrusion and a 10-gauge rear support plate, strengthen the antenna and preserve surface accuracy. Both of these features allow the Perforated Antenna to deliver unmatched KU-band reception. HEAVY-DUTY STEEL MOUNT A new heavy-duty steel polar mount features four high-grade ground pole locking bolts to eliminate slippage in high wind, a precise North/South alignment feature which is unaffected by lockdown, a latitude setting adjustment with scale showing latitude degrees, continuous scaled declination adjustment with positive lockdown, a convenient mount grounding connector and lifetime lubricated heavy-duty bronze bushings. Preassembled, the mount provides proper anchoring to a 3.5" 0.0. or 4.5" 0.0. ground pole. WEATHERABILITY Like all Global Image™ Satellite Antennas, the Ku Perforated "Butterfly Rib" Antenna offers superior weatherization characteris- tics designed to maximize its outstanding reception capabilities and attractive appearance. A specially formulated black powder coat paint protects against incidental scratches, rust, corrosion and other weather related deterioration. Cadmium hardware with dichromate finish is extensively salt spray tested and further safe- guards the Perf. all year long. The Model 6934 and 6935 come complete with feed cover, hard- ware and detailed installation instructions. Global Image antenna hardware is now packaged in separate bags individually labeled with description and part number to keep hardware protected and make antenna assembly and installation easier than ever before.
