KTZiZEAS, T. Bruce Smith has beerr actizg as City Attorney
of the City of Carlsbad since its incorporation on July 16, 1952,
at a salary of $300,00 per month, plus mileage, and. $SO,OO for
each Court appearance and as this temporary agrement expires
on October 6, 1952; now
THEREFORE, BE IT iiESOLVD that y. Bruce Smith be ap-
pointed as City -4tto:m.ey of the City of Carlsbad. for the period.
ending April 30, 1953, at a salary of $300,00 per month, such
solaqr to include all necessary forms and raterials, .Win.i.cn will
be supplied by the City Atbmey; it bei-ng also understood "cat
the city Attorney will supply his ova stenographic services, in-
clu6ing such reasonable serv'ces which mag be needed. by the
Council members in transcribing letters, and he will also make
use of' his own car for City business in normal rou-tine without ex-
tra charge for mlleage, The Citp Attorney will be .allowed aE
additional sum cf$50.00 per day for Court appearances for the
city*
