JWEXEAS, it was brought out at the Conven'i;ion of the
League of California Cities held in San Diego this month that
the l~IcLa2n~sponsored Propositton 10, to be voted on by the
people at the November 4th election, WOU?-~. be detrimental to
the interests of the citizens of the State of Californla, if
passed, as its provisions would, among other things, prevent
the League of California Cities from representLng tke cities
of CaliTornia before legislative bodies at Sacramento as a.
peoplers lobby, expressing the wishes of the citizem of all
of the 308 member cities; now
THEREFOF?E, BE IT 3IESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad go on record as favoriP4 the rejection
of Proposition LO ahd call upon the people of the City of
lt Carlsbad to vote 80" on said Proposition 10 at the November
4th election,
Passed and' adopted this 14th d-ay of October, 1952,
by the following vote::
Ayes : Councilmen Ede, Sutton, Castorena, Mayor
