WHEREAS, on the 19th day of October, 1954, ALICE S, HOUSTON
has offered to the City of Carlsbad an easement for sewer purposes
described as:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Tract 127 of Carlsbad Lands, according to Map thereof No. 1661, filed in the office of the County R corder of San Diego County, thence South 5 P 27' West 599.28 feet; thence North 34'33' West a distance of 378.36 feet; thence IQorth 5927' East a distance of 20& feet to the true point of beginning; thence North 3b0 33' West a distance of approximately 240 feet to the intersection of Lagma Drive;
and
WE€EAS, said easement for sewer purposes is being offered
to the City of Carlsbad fn exchange for the promise of the City of
Carlsbad to forbear in collecting any sewer connection charge from
said ALICE S. HOVSTOR;
NOW THEREFORB, IT IS HEREBY FU3SOLVED by the City CounciX of
the City of Carlsbad that the above described easement be acctepted
by the City of Carlsbad for the public*s use and benefit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the event said ALICE S. HOUSTOH
desires or requests to connect her home Xocated at the cornep of
Laguna and Pi0 Pic0 to the sanitary system of the City of Carlsbad
that no sewer connection charge be assessed against said ALICE S,
€?OUSTOH for any presentu existing facilities owned by the City of
Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and he is here-
by Instructed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be
recorded in the County Recorder's Office of the County of San Diego.
