UHERJUS, the State of California under Chapter 47, Statutes of 1944., (4*
ti5rt;ra Session) has appropriated funds for allotment by the Director of Finance
to provide financial. assistance to Loa1 Agertcies defined therein as counties, e?ities, or cities and counties for the putpose of defraying not to exceed one-half of the cost of preparing engineering field surveys, engineering or srchitectd

?ereinafter designated as "Local Agency" desires to apply to the Director of Finam md/or the State Allocation Board, as the case my be, for an allotment of the Stw share of the estimated cost of preparing the completed plans hereinafter mentioned
md there has been prepared and presented to this Legislative Body for consideratit m application for such prp~se; and
IJHEREBS, Local Agency has provided, or will make available upon apprml 1
the aforementioned application, sufficient frrnds to prepare the completed plans herein mentioned:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that for the purposes of this application

Box 265, Carlsbad, California (Adxess) fs hereby designated as the authorized agent of Local Agency and is hereby mthorized and directed to sign the above mentioned a plication on behalf of the Local agency and submit the sane to the Direotor andor State Allocation Board, together with a certified statement of the estimated cost of preparing suoh plans
and such other information as may be required; and said authorized agent is further wthoriaed and directed as the representative of Local. Agency to conduct all negotiations and conclude all amangements, including submission to the Director of Fbance of applications forreimbursemeat which my be necessary to secure rehbursement for the State% share of the expenditures made ia preparing said
completed plans*
