RESOLUTION NO. 328
RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY
COUNCIL APPROVING TENTATIVE MAP
OF SEACREST ESTATES UNIT NO. 1.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the
20th day of December, 1957 recommended to the City Council that the
tentative map of SEACREST ESTATES UNIT NO. 1 be approved, subject to
the conditions hereinafter enumerated in this resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 7th day of
January, 1957 considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentative
map of Seacrest Estates Unit No. 1, subject to the following requirements
and conditions being performed by the Subdivider:
1. All buildings constructed in this subdivision are to be connected to
the Carlsbad Public Sewer System.
2. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision comes from the
Carlsbad Mutual Water Company, or its successor.
3. The sewer and water lines are not to be Laid in the same trench in
any part of the subdivision.
4. Proper drainage is maintained throughout the subdivision so as to
prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water.
5. Approximately 350 feet of 10" main line be installed to transmit
ample volume to subdivision site,
6. Approximately 5000 feet of 6" and 500 feet of 4" distribution line
be installed within the subdivision.

9. That sufficient water stock be acquired in accordance with Paragra.

at Lot line of Lots 39 and 40, Seacrest Dr. at Charter Oak, Seacrest Dr,
and Ridgecrest Dr. at Lot 69 and Charter Oak at lot line of Lots 22 and 23.
11. A11 streets in the subdivision shall have a 50 foot rightvof-way,
and those classed as local streets shall have a minimum pavement width of
32 feet.
Where Basswood joins Ridgec st the radius of curvature must be
at least 100 feet.
13. All lots in the 10,000 square feet minimum lot area zone shall
have a width of at least 75 feet.
14. Rolled curbs shall be constructed having sufficient gutter capacity
for adequate conveyance of storm drainage . Permanent street paving shall
consist of two-inches (2") or more of asphaltic concrete laid upon sub-base
as approved by the City Engineer.
15. Storm water drainage shall be conveyed to the appropriate drainag
channels by means of adequate gutters of adequate capacity and necessary
underground storm drains and structures.

17. All underground utilities to be laid in the subdivision streets shall
he installed before the permanent paving is laid.
18. The revised tentative map shall show the lot widths for lots at the

20. Upon approval of the tentative map, the developer shall prepare a
revised map to show all features of the subdivision which are the conditions
for approval of the map.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed
to place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to
the Subdivider at his address as shown on the tentative map.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 7th day of
January, 1958, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Mayor Castorena, Councilman Robinson and Helton.
NOES: Councilman Ledger wood
ABSENT: Councilman Baird
of the City of Carlsbad,
Carls bad, California.
