RESOLUTION NO. 427
A RESQLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO RUSSELL CROSSE, A MEMBER OF TEE MAYOR'S ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WKEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Carlsbad, with the approval of the
City Couhcil of the City of Carlsbad, did QII the 14th day of May, 1955, appoint
a Mayas's Advisory Committee for the purpose of reviewing the administrative
procedure of the City of Carlabad; ~nh
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Advisory Committee held 'rr,ultfple meetings,
one public hearing and many conferences with City officials of the City of
Carlsba.3 and other cities in the State of Calfhrnia; and
WIIEREAS, the inquiry and investigation of the Mayor's Advisory
Committee has been detailed and exhaustive; and
WHEREAS, the consideration, devotion and insight of the committee of
the Mayor's Advisory Committee has demonstrated a keen Insight into the
mechanic 61 and functional operation of munfc ipal government; and
WHEREAS, €he conclusions and recommkndationa reached by the Mayor Is
Advisory Committee represent a studied and enlightened report prepared by
conscientious citizens who have responded to the challenge of civic responai-
bility; and
WB.EREAS, RUSSELL GROSSE, has served ably and conscientiously upon
tho Mayor IB Advisory Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, ROES
HEREBY RESOLW3 as follows:
Section 1. That the official thanks and appreciation of the City of Carlsbac
is hereby warmly qxtended to RUSSELL GROSSE for his w~rk and services
perfarmed on the NI~yor's Advisory Comx%ittee,
Section 2. That a certified COPY of this resolution be delivered to
RUSSELL GROSSE by the City Clerk of Obe City of Carlsbad.
