RESOLUTION NO. 559.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FINDING A PORTION OF PINE AVENUE UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES; VACATING SUCH
PORTION OF PINE AVENUE; AND ORDERING CLERK TO RECORD A CERTIFIED COPY HEREOF WITH THE
COUNTY RECORDER OF SAN DIEGO
COUNTY.
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of May, 1959, the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad adopted Resolution No. 550, stating its intention to vacate the
property herein vacated, and setting a time and place of hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has posted notices stating street
vacation and date of hearing in accordance with the provisions of Section 8332
of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, at 7: 30 o'clock P. M. on June 2, 1959, the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad held a hearing at its regular meeting place in the
City of Carlsbad at 2960 Pi0 Pic0 Drive; and
WHERmS, all persons who were interested in or opposed to the street
vacation were heard,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does
hereby find that that portion of Pine Avenue hereinafter described is unneces-
sary for present or prospective public street purposes.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
as follows:
1. That the following described lands shall be, and are hereby vacated,
said lands being more particularly described as follows:
The Northerly ten (10) feet of Pine Avenue between Pi0 Pic0 Drive and Highland Drive, the Southerly ten (IO) feet of Pine Avenue between Basswood Avenue and McKinley Street, and the Southerly ten (10) feet of Pine Avenue between McKinley Street and Highland Drive,
in the City of Carlsbad.
2. Th City Clerk shall be, and he is hereby instructed to cause a

:ertified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County
tecorder of San Diego County, -- 1,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED AT a regular meeting of the
Jity Council of the City of Carlsbad held on the 2nd day of June, 1959, by the
'ollowing vote, to wit:
AYE3 Councilmen Grober, Sonneman, Ledgerwood, McPherson and
Coats .
