RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
DECMIMG ITS WTENTION TO ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN SANI-

The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, DOES HEREBY
SOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience require and that
t is the intention of the City Council of said City of Carlsbad to order the

The construction of sanitary sewers and appurtenances and appurtenant
rork in Skyline Road 280' north of Alder Avenue, to the South boundary of

;kyline Road; Birch Avenue 204.31' west of the intersection with Skyline Road;
:learview Drive 419' north of the south boundary of Carlsbad Highlands io. 2 and
Lasements along the southerly boundary of Carlsbad Highlands No. 2 from Skyline
toad to Sunnyhill Drive, with the exact nature, extent and location of said
Lmprovement to be in tiCCOrd8aCQ with detailed plans on file with the City Clerk
Bf the City of Carlsbad, containing thirteen sheets entitled Vlan for sewage
system in Skyline Road, Alder Avenue, Birch ALenue, Clearview Drive and ease-
rents in Carlsbad Highlands Subdivisions,"

SECTION 2. That all the aforesaid work or improvement shall be

SECTION 5. That the said proposed work is to be done under and pro-

SECTION 6. That notice is hereby given that the 17th day of November,
1959, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. is the day and hour when, and the

is the place where, any and all persons having any protest or objection to said
proposed work or to the extent of said assessment district, or to the proposed
grades, a~sy appear before the City Council of said city and show cause why
said proposed work should not be carried out in accordance with this resolution
of intentioa. Protests or objections must be in writing and mast be delivered
to the said City Clerk not later than the hour herein set for hearing protehlts
or objections.
All protests and objections must be in writing and must contain a
description of the property in which each signer thereof is interested, sufficiei
to identify the same and shall be delivered to aud filed with the City Clerk,
City of Carlsbad at 2960 Pi0 Pic0 Drive, Carlsbad, California.
SECTION 7. THE CARLSBAD JOURNAL, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the said City of Carlsbad and in the County of
San Biego, California, is hereby selected as the newspaper in which this reso-
lution of intention shall be made. The said City Clerk is hereby directed to
certify to the adoption of this resolution and to cause said resolution to be
published in the manner provided by law.
SECTION 8. The said City Clerk is hereby directed to mail notices
of the adoption of this resolution as provided in said Improvement Act of 1911,
postage prepaid, to all persons owning real property which is proposed to be
assessed to pay any part of the cost of said work, whose names and addresses
appear on the last equalized assessment roll or as known to the said City Clerk,

ncluding the mailing of such notices to every owner of property assessed by
the State under Section 14 of Article XIXI of the Constitution at the address
thereof shown on the last board roll transmitted to the County Auditor.
SECTION 9, The engineer of work of the said City of Carlsbad is here-
by directed to cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of the contemr
plated work and on all open streets within the said assessment district notices
of the passage of this resolution of intention in the time, form and manner
provided by law.
SECTION 10. Resolution No. 599 is hereby repealed and is of no
further force and effect.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad held on the 20th day of October, 1959, by the
following vote, to wit:
