A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD APPROVING TENTATIVE MAP OF LINDA ESTATES, UNIT NO. 2.
X&~EREA!S, the Planning Conraission of the City of Carlsbad on the 13th day
of October, 1959, reconmended to the City Council that the tentative lgap of
LINDA ESTATES, UNIT NO. 2 be approved, subject to the conditions hereinafter
enumerated in this resolution; and
tJHleReAs, the &it7 Council of the City of Carlsbad OR the 20th day of
Oatober, 1959, considered the reccmmndations of the Planrping Cogmissim;
W~THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
that the City Council does hereby approve said tentative map of LINDA ESTATES,
UNIT NO, 2, subject to the following requLretaeats and conditions baing performed
by the subdivider:
1, That the tentative subdivision complies with the subdivision ordinance.
2. All buildings constructed in this subdivision shall be connected to
the Carlsbad public sewer system.
3, All domestic water supplied to this subdivision shall be supplied
by the Carlsbad City Water Department.
4. The sewer and water lines shall not be laid in the same trench in any
part of this subdivision.
5. Proper drainage will be maintained throughout the subdivision so as
to prevent podding and/or storage of surface water.
6, All street right-of-way widths, lot sizes and frontages comply with
City Ordinances covering subdivisions6
7. Both City water and sewer mains are available to service all of the
lots, providing the necessary mains sad sewers are extended into the streets
shown as "AW and nBcr Streets. It is recoaraended thst an 8w sewer main and a
6" transite water main be laid in these streets with the necessary laterals
and services to accommodate eaeh lot.
8. An 8 foot public utility easement: should be provided for at the
westerly property lines of Lots 2 and 15.

9. All undergmund utilities to be laid in the subdivision streets
should be installed before the permanent paving is laid.
10. The improvements shall consist of Tyqe G curb and gutter and sidewalks
with a Pasphaltic concrete pavent between gutters and the sub-grade for this
pavement prepared to comply with at least 90% compaction as indicated by actual
compaction tests,

15. The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Compauy and the San Diego Cas and
Electric Company have recommended that the power and telephone poles be
located in the street. The City Engineer concurs in this recoamendation,
16. All improvements required of the subdivider to be installed and
dedica€ed to the City of Carlsbad shall be described in improvement plans
approved by the City Engineer, and no construction shall commence until such
plans are approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is.heJreby directed to place
a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the sub-
divider at his address as shown on the tentative map*
