RESOLUTION NO. 643
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAn ANNOUNCING
FINDINGS AND DECISION REGAPZDING AMEWDMEMT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO, 9060.
WHEREAS* on the 8th day of March, 1960, the Carlsbad City Planning
Commission adopted Resolution No. 153, which is herewith referred to and
made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on April 5, 1960, a duly advertised public hearing was held as
prescribed by law to consider an amendment to Ordinance No, 9060, Article 5,
Section 507 as follows:
(2) "Lots required to have a minimum. lot area between 10,000 square feet to, but not including 15,000 square feet, 75 feet. ''
(3) "Lots required to have 15,000 square feet or more, 90 feet;"
and
WHEREASa the City Council received all recommendations and heard
all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDmGS AND RXSOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 153 constitute the findings
of the City Council of the City of CarEsbad,
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certified that the approval of the amendment is necessary to carry out the
general purpose of Ordinance No, 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed amdhent.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney
is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060

to effectuate this amendment to Ordinance No. 9060.
PASSER, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 3rd day of May, 1960, by the following vote, to w,t:
AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, Sonneman, McPherson and La Roch
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
