RESOLUTION NO, 715
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING
CEFANGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF
PROPERTY KNOWN AS A. PORTION OF - TRACT 115, CARLSBAD ACRE TRACT, FROMZOHE E-3 TO ZONE (2-2.
WHEREAS, on the 24th day of January, 1961, the Carlsbad City Planning
Commission adopted Resolution No. 194, which is herewith referred to and
made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, an February 7, 1Q61 a duly advertised public hearing was helc
as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-3 (Muluple
FamLly Residential) to Zone C-2 (General Commercial) of property described
as:
A portion of Tract 1159 Carlsbad Acre Tract according to a Map thereof No. 775 of the City of Carlsbadj said property being Tax Assesswrs Parcels l3 2, 3 and 4 of Page 40, Book 35 of the Assessarts Map of San Diego County;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard all
persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classlfication,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings af the
Plannlng Commission contained in Resolution No. 194 constitute the findings
of the City Council 03 the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Counca
certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification ;Is
necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intentian to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone
class ificat ion.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney
is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No, 9060 to
effectuate the change of zone classification.

City Council held on the 7th day of February, 1961, by the following vote, to wI
AYES; Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, McPherson and La Roche.
