WHEREAS, on the 10th day of October, 1961, the Carlsbad City Planning
Portion of lot 27 and all o€ lots 28, 30 and 31 of Schell and Sites
Addition; being parcels 4, 5, 9, 10, 11 and 12, Page 21, Book 203,
of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County;

(One -family residential) to Zone R-3 (Multiple residential) of property described
as:
Portiun of' Carlsbad Lands, Tract 117, &lap No. 1661 of the
City of Carlsbad; being parcels 2 and 3; northerly 140' of parcels 4 and 5; the northerly 15OY of parcel 7; portion of parcel .8 being 10' wide and 120' deep on south side of Grand Avenue, Page 32 and parcel 17, Page 13, Book 203, of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County.

~ WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard
all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classificatior..
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Planning
Commission contained in Resolution N
Council of the City of Carlsbad,
225 constitute the findings of the City

BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone
classification.
