RESOLUTION NO. 807.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF TIlE CITY OF CARLSBAD. APPROVING
day of February, 1962, recommended to the City Council that the tentative
map of Harbor View Subdivision be approved; and

of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentative map of
HARBOR VIEW SUBDIVISION, subject to the following requirements and
conditions being performed by the Subdivider:
1. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision shall come from the
Carlsbad City Water Department.

1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 6th day of March
2. All buildings constructed in this subdivision shall be connected to the
Carlsbad Public Sewer System.

I I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of %he city

part of this subdivision.
4. Proper drainage shall be maintained throughout the subdivision so as
to prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water.

5. One (1) standard six inch (6") hydrantshall be located at the southeast
corner of Adams and Chinquapin.

6. One (1) standard six inch (6") hydrant shall be located at the south
property line of lot No. 1 on Adams Street.

7; Deep lots radiating around the cul-de-sac circle having 20% area in
excess of the minimum represent good land planning use and exception shall be

permitted to reduce the required lot frontage from sixty feet (60') to fifty feet
(sot) at the front yard set back line.
8. A grading plan shall be submitted as required by ordinance prior to
issuance of building permits on any of the lots.

10. The subdivider shall submit a name for "A" Street as shown.
11. A sanitary sewer and drainage easement fifteen feet (15r) in width sha
be provided in a location subject to approval by the City Engineer to serve
adjacent property to the east.
12. All improvements shall comply with standard plans and specification <
the City of Carlsbad.
13. Street paving shall consist of two-inch (2") of asphaltic concrete with
stone chip seal coat laid on six-inch (6") of decomposed granite base, or equal,
unless native material is approved for the base by the Engineering Department.
14. Type "G" concrete curb and gutter shall be installed in all streets.

20. Survey monuments and street trees shall be installed as required by
City standards.
21. All improvements required of the subdivider to be installed and
dedicated to the City of Carlsbad shall be described in improvement plans
approved by the City Engineer, and no construction shall commence until such
plans are approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to
place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the
subdivider at his address as shown on the tentative map.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 6th day of
March, 1962, by the following vote, to wit:
