RESOLUTION NO. 818
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, APPROVING THE REVISED TENTATIVE WIAP OF SHELTER COVE SUBDIVISION,
WHEREAS, the Planning Cummission of the Cib of Carlsbad on the 10th
day of April," 1962, recommended to the City Council that the revised tentative
map of Shelter Cove Subdivision be approved) and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 1st day of May
1962, considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE XT RZSOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said revised tentative
map of SHELTER COVE SUBDIVISLON, subject 40 the following reqirements
and conditions being performed by the Subdivider:
domestic water supplied to this subdivision shall come from the
Carlsbad City Water Department.
2. All buildings constructed in this subdivision shall be connected to the
Carlsbad Public Sewer System.
3. The sewer and water lines shall not be laid in the same trench in any
part of this subdivision.
4. Proper drainage shall be maintained throughout the subdivision so as
to prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water.
5. Five (5) standard 6-inch fire hydrants shall be installed at (1) the
Southwest corner of Park Drive and Cove Drive; (2) the lot line of lots 34 and 35
(3) the lot line of lots 23 and 24 ; (4) the lot line of lots 50 and 51; and (5) the
lot lines of lots 59 and 60.

to 35, and the design of said street and improvements shall meet the require-

7. Because of extreme topography construction width of Park and Adams
shall be at the discretion of the City Engineer and typical sections shall be
revised accordingly .
8. An easement 20 feet wide shall be provided across the southerly
portion of the subdivision for sanitary sewer main with 10 feet sewer easement:
connecting to Cove Drive and Park Drive.
9. A grading plan shall be submitted as required by ordinance and in
conjunction with subdivision improvement plans.
10. Power and telephone utility service location shall be in the streets.

an amended tentative map to be forwarded to affected departments and agencies
to. assist in processing improvement plans and final subdivision map.

approved by the City Engineer, and no construction shall commence until such
plans are approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to
place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the
subdivider at his address as shown on the tentative map.
