RESOLUTION NO, 832
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ACCEPTUNG
STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY AND IMPROVEMENTS.
WmREZAS, ALICE M, COOPER, has offered to dedicate to the City of
Carlsbad the following described real property for street purposes:
Beginning at a point on the north line of Block 2, Mull's
Addition to Carlsbad, 3.n the County of Sa Diego, State of
California, according to map thereof No. 514, filed in the office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County, March 22, 1888,
distant south 89* 05l east 662.45 feet from the point of intersection of the prolongation westerly of said northerly line of Block 2, with the westerly line of that certain unnamed street lying immediately west of and adjoining Black 1 af said Mullb Addition, said point being the TRUE POWT OF BEGWNIHGj thence south Q* 52% east 10 feet; thence south 89" 05' east 87.86 feet to the beginning of a
tangent 10 foot radius curve concave southwesterly; thence easterly
along the arc of said curve 15.39 feet through a central angle of
88" 13' 00"~ thence tangent to said curve north Oo 52' west 19.70
feetj thence north 89" 05r west 97.55 feet to the TRUE POI" OF BEGINNING$ being a portion of the following described parcel of land:
That portion of Block 2 of Mullts Addition to Carlsbad, in the
County cf San Diego, State of California, according to map thereof No. 514, filed h the office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County, March 22, 1888, and that portion of the Streets adjoining on
the East, vacated and closed to public use by Order of the Board of Supervisors made on January 7, 1914, described as a whole as follow s :
Beginning at a point on the north line of said Block 2, distant
south 89" 05"east 662.45 feet from the point of intersection of
the prolongation westerly of said northerly line of Block 2 with the westerly line of that certain unnamed street lying immediately west of and adjoining Block 1 of said MLIU% Addition, said point being the TRUE POJXT OF BEGINNIHG; thence South 0" 52x east 100 feet to a point in the south line of the land described in deed to Harold M. Marion, et ux, recorded October 7, 1954 Fn Book 5389, page 304 of Official Records; thence along the south line of said land,
south 89* 05x east 97.55 feet to the center line of Second Street now
vacated; thence north OQ 52'west along said center line 100 feet to
a point in the easterly prolongation of the north line of said Block 2; therm thence north 89* 05' west along said prolongation to and along said north line 97.55 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING:
and
WHEREAS, AYce M. Cooper has constructed curb, gutter and sidewalk
at the City% official street grade and alignment; and
WHEREAS, said Mrs. Cooper has offered to dedicate said street improve-
ments, including the sidewalks; and
WHEREAS, the public health, safety and welfare will be promoted by the

acceptance of the above described real property and Improvements for street
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad that the above described real property and improvements
be accepted by the City of Carlsbad for the public& use and benefit.
BE XF FURTHER BJ3SOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad
be, and he is hereby instructed to record the deed for the aforesaid real proper
together with a certified copy of this resolution with the Caunty recorder of San
Diego County, State of California.
PASSED, APPROVED AHD ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 3rd day of July, 1962, by the following vote, to wit:
