RESOLUTION NO. 873.
A RESOLUTION ,OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, APPROVING
THE TENTATIVE NIAP OF EUREKA KNOLLS SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the
22nd day of January, 1963, recommended to the City Council that the tentative
map of Eureka Kholls subdivision be approved; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 5th day of
February, 196 3, considered the recommendation of the Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentative map of
EUREKA KNOLLS SUBDIVISION, subject to the following requirements and
conditions being performed by the Subdivider:
1. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision comes from the
Carlsbad City Water Department.
2. All buildings constructed in this subdivision are connected to the
Carlsbad Public Sewer System.
3. The sewer and water Lines are not laid in the same trench in any part
of the subdivision.
4. Proper drainage shall be maintained throughout the subdivision so as
to prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water.
5. One (1) standard six inch (6rr) fire hydrant shall be located at the
Northeast corner of Eureka Place and “A” Street.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to
place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the
subdivider at his address as shown on the tentative map.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 5th day of
February, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, McPherson and Hughes.
NOES: Councilman Neiswender
