RESOLUTION NO. 953.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD APPROVING
TENTATIVE MAP OF CAMINO DEL SOL SUBDI VI SI ON.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 22nd
day of October, 1963, recommended to the City Council that the tentative map
of CAMINO DEL SOL SUBDIVISION be approved; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 5th day of
November, 1963, considered the recommendation of the Planning Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Cit)
of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentative map of
CAMINO DEL SOL SUBDIVISION, subject to the following requirements and
conditions being performed by the Subdivider:
1. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision shall be supplied by t
Carlsbad City Water Department.
2. All buildings constructed in this subdivision shall be sewered by the
Carlsbad Public Sewer System.
3, Sewer and water lines shall not be laid in the same trench in any par
of this subdivision.
4. Proper drainage shall be maintained throughout the subdivision so as
to prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water.
5. One (1) standard six inch (6") fire hydrant shall be located at the cor
of Camino del Sol Cirvle and Adams Street.
6. Because of the irregular shape of the subdivision and location of exir
utility poles, location of utility poles shall be placed in the street.
7. A grading plan shall be submitted as required by ordinance prior to
issuance of building permits on any of the lots.
8. All improvements shall comply with the standard plans and specifica
tions of the City of Carlsbad.
9. Proposed lots 8 and 9 shall be combined into one lot of not less than
15,000 sq. ft., with frontage of not less than 140 ft. on Camino del Sol Circle.
Street paving shall consist of two inches (2") of asphaltic concrete 10,

with stone chip seal coat laid on four inches (4") of decomposed granite base,
except on Tamarack Avenue where depth of asphaltic concrete shall be increased
to two and one-half inches (2 112") and decomposed granite base to six inches
(6").
11. Type "GI' concrete curb and gutter shall be installed in all streets.
Concrete cross gutters shall be six feet (6') wide and located as required for
drainage.
12. Sidewalks shall be four feet (4*) in width and located six inches (6")
from the street right-of-way line.
13. All required street name signs, barricades and safety devices shall
be installed.
14. Six inch (6") diameter water main with standard fire hydrants and
appurtenances as required by the City shall be installed.

dedicated to the City of Carlsbad shall be described in improvement plans
approved by the City Engineer and no construction shall commence until such
plans are approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to

place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the
subdivider at his address as shown on the tentative map.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 5th day of
October, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen McPherson, Bierce, Guevara, Neiswender and Hughc
