RESOLUTION NO, 964
A RESOLUTION OF THF: CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING
FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING CHANGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM ZONE R-1 TO ZONE R-3.
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of November, 1963, the Carlsbad City
'lanning Commission adopted Resolution No. 328, which is herewith referred
2 and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on December 17, 1963, a duly advertised public hearing was
eld as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-1

Beginning at the most northwesterly corner of said Tract 117; thence south Oo 05* West 147.74 feet to a point, said point being the true point of beginning; thence south 34" 33' east 221.20 feet; thence south 89" 57' east 665.17 feet; thence north 0" 05* east 330 feet; thence north 89" 57* west 606. 95 feet (Record 606. 21 feet); thence south 0. 05I west 148.69 feet, thence westerly to said TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, in the City of Carlsbad, California.
EXCEPTING the following described parcel: Beginning at the most northwesterly corner of said Tract 117; thence sobth OQ 05I west 147. 74 feet; thence south 34" 33* east 221.20 feet; thence south 89" 57* east 533.17 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, thence continuing south 89* 57' east 82 feet; thence north 0" 05' east 330 feet, thence north 89" 57* west 82 feet, thence south 0. 05* west 330 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, in the
City of Carlsbad, California;
WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard all
ersons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classification.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Carlsbad
IOES HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
'lanning Commission contained in Resolution No. 328 constitute the findings of
ie City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
.ertifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
iecessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare

its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone
classification.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorn i
hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060 to
effectuate the change of zone classification.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 17th day of December, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bierce, Guevara, Neiswender and Hughes.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman McPherson
of the City of Carlsbad, Carlsbad, California
