WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the 25th day of February, 1964, recommended to the City Council that the ientafise map af Monroe Park Subdivision be approved; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 3rd day of March, 1964, considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentative map of Monroe Park Subdivision, subject to the following requirements and conditions being performed by the Subdivider: 1. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision shall be supplied by the Carlsbad City Water Department. 2. All buildings constructed in this subdivision shall be sewered by the Carlsbad Public Sewer System. 3. Sewer and water lines shall not be laid in the same trench in any part o this subdivision. 4. Proper drainage shall be maintained throughout the subdivision so as tc prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water. 5. One (1) standard six inch (6") fire hydrant shall be located at the rt II Southwest corner of Chestnut Avenue and A Street. 6. The proposed reduction in radius of right of way turning circle from fifty feet (50*) to forty-four feet (44') is satisfactory for small subdivisions; therefore, it shall be approved as submitted. 7. Location, grade and details of proposed improvements as indicated upc the tentative map will be subject to revision as required for improvement plan2 and approval of the map shall not imply acceptance as submitted. 8. Because of the irregular shape of the subdivision and location of existil utility poles, location of utility poles shall be placed in the street. 9. All improvements shall comply with the standard plans and specifica- tions of the City of Carlsbad. 11. Street paving shall consist of two inches (2'') of asphaltic concrete wit chip seal coat laid on six inches (6") of decomposed granite base, or equal, unless native material is approved for base by the Engineering Department. Type ''C'' concrete curb and gutter shall be installed in all streets. 12. Concrete cross gutters shall be six feet (61) wide and located as required for drainage. 13. Sidewalks shall be four feet (4') in width and located six inches (6") from the street right of way line. 14. All required street name signs, barricades and safety devices shall be installed. 15. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the subdivider at his address as shown on the tentative map. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City 3f Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 3rd day of March, 1964.
