QESOLUTION NO. 1080
A RESQLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD DIRECTING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFIFIC-
ATIONS AND DESIGNATING ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS.
(Proposed Assessment District No. S-1964)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, thal
the said City Council proposes to cause to be improved in the City oj
Ciarlshad, County of Sa.n Diego, State of California, the following
streets or public ways, to wit:
The construction of concrete sidewalks, combination concrete
curb and gutter, concrete cross gutters, drainage structures and
conduits, asphaltic concrete psvement with base and seal coat, sewer
service laterals 86 needed, cancrete driveway apprtlsches and other
appurtenant work for permanent street improvement, in Madison Street
from its intersection with E.lm Avenue to its intersection with
Yagnolia Avenue; Oak Avenue from its intersection with Roosevelt
Street to its intersection with Jefferson Street; Pine Avenue from
its intersection with Roosevelt Street to its intersection with
Ma.dison Street; Nalnut Avenue from its intersection with Roosevelt
Street to its terminus with Alley East of Madison Street; Chestnut
Avenue from its intersection with Roosevelt Street to its inter-
section with Jefferson Street; Palm Avenue from fts intersection
with Ffadison Street to its intersection with Warding Street; Jeffersc
Street from its intersection with Chestnut Avenue to its intersectior
with Palm Avenue; md Magnolia Avenue from its intersection with
Roosevelt Street to its intersection with Jefferson Street,
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, that Wayne P. Li13, Engineer of the City of Carlsbad, be
and he is herehy directed to prepa.re plans and specificxtions for
said proposed work; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proceedings for such work shall
e taken in accordance with the provisions of the "Imgsovement Act
f L91lr+ under Rksolution of Intention to be hereafter adopted,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said Wayne P, Lill, be and he
.s hereby directed to prepare a map showing the boundaries and the
iistrict to be assessed for the said proposed work and improvement,
BE IT FlJRTHER RESOLVED that Wayne P. Lill is hereby directed

For such rrapnsed improvements, "Speci€ications for Improvements

PASSED, APPROVED ASD ADOPTED by the City Council o€ the City
DE Carlsbad at an adjourned regular meeting held on November 4th,
1964, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Atkinson, Dunnes Neiswender and Jardine.
NOES: None.
ABSEhrT: Councilman Hughes.
