A RESOLUTION'OF THE~CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD APPOINTING
PERSON TO PREPARE ALL PROCEEDINGS,
(Proposed Assessment District No. 3-1965)

RESOLVED that STUART C, WILSON, be, and he is hereby appointed as
attorney to prepare all resolutions, notices and other papers and proceedings
for any work and improvement that may be hereinafter authorized by the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad for the proposed improvement of Assessment
District No. 3-1965 in said City of Carlsbad; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said Stuart C. Wilson shall receive
as compensation for the doing and performance of said work the sum of Two
Percent (2%) of the contract price, not including incidentals; but in no event
shall the amount of compensation, which the said Stuart C. Wilson shall receive,
be less than ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said compensation shall be paid as
follows:
(a) Three-fourths (3/4ths) at the time of signing the contract with the contractor who may be awarded said contract be this Body.
(b) The balance thereof at the time of recording the Warrant, diagram
and assessment;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if said proceedings shall fail to carry
through to conclusion, then the said Stuart C. Wilson shall be paid a reasonable
compensation for hik services which he has performed, which in no event shall
be less than $100.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said services shall not include any
services for litigation or services in the procurement of easements or rights of
way, but shall be for the preparation of all resolutions, notices and other papers
and proceedings required by the provisions of the %nprovement Act of 1911"
in carrying through the proceedings for the work herein contemplated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all of the compensation for usual services:
snd exclusive of extraordinary services, being so allowed to Stuart C. Wilson,
