A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD DECLARING FINDING THAT OWNERS OF MORE THAN 60% IN AREA OF THE PROPERTY SUBJECT TO ASSESSMENT IN
HAVE SIGNED PETITION FOR IMPROVEMENTS; FINDING THAT THE PETITION FOR PROPOSED
FILED WITH THE CLERK OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD; AND FINDING THAT SAID PETITION
CEEDINGS REQUIRED BY DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAY CODE OF THE STATE OF CALI FORNIA.

WHEREAS, on the 30th day of August, 1965, a petition was filed

I with the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad, said petition bearing
the date August 30, 1965, wherein the petitioners requested that the
City Council initiate proceedings to have the following improvement
done in the City of Carlsbad:
Installation of ornamental street lighting standards instal lation of underground electrical system and other necessary and incidental appurtenances 5 said improvements to be installed upon portions of the following listed streets:

WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Carlsbad has filed

with the City Council his report stating that owners of more than
60% in area of the property subject to assessment for such proposed
improvement have signed said petition; and

by Division 4 of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of Cali

WHEREAS, it appears from the fact of said petition that the

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does
