RESOLUTION NO. 1222
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
MENT ORDERED BY RESOLUTION NO. 1205, OF SAID CITY COUNCIL.
AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WORK OR IMPROVE-
I I (Assessment District No. 4-1964)
WHEREAS, this City Council on the 4th day of January, 1966, dulh
adopted Resolution No. 1205 ordering the following work to be done
or improvement to be made, to wit, all that certain work or improve-
ment described in Resolution No. 1197, duly adopted by this City
Council on the 7th day of December, 1966; and i

WHEREAS, pursuant to and in accordance with said Resolution I
No. 1205, a notice inviting sealed bids or proposals for doing said
work or improvement was duly published and posted; and i I 1 MHEREAS, at the hour of 2:OO o'clock P.M., February 11, 1966, ! i at the Council Chambers of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,

posals for said work, which were delivered to the City Clerk, were I I publicly opened, examined and declared by the City Clerk; and I
WHEREAS, the City Clerk submitted her report of the result of
said bidding to the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on I I
February 15, 1966, the regular meeting of the City Council next suc-
ceeding the date of the opening of the bids; and
WHEREAS, this City Council finds that said resolutions were I I 1 I
duly adopted and contained the matters and things required by law
and that all notices required by law have been duly given and all
hearings required by law duly held and that each and every step in
the proceedings prior to and including the opening of said bids has
been duly and regularly taken and that this City Council has duly

acquired jurisdiction;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Cali-/
fornia, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:

Section 1. That this City Council does hereby determine that
the bid of PERRY ELECTRIC CO., Imperial Beach, California, is the
lowest regular bid for said work of any responsible bidder and that
said bid is accompanied by a good and sufficient proposal guaranty

which is satisfactory to this City Council, and this City Council
does hereby award the contract for said work to the above named i

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish

Council held on the 15th day of February, 1966, by the following
vote, to wit: I AYES: Dunne, Neiswender, Atkinson, Hughes and Jardine.
