A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, APPROVING THE TENTATIVE MAP OF SANDALWOOD DALE SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on
:he 26th day of April, 1966, recommended to the City Council that
ie tentative map of Sandalwood Dale Subdivision be approved; and
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 3rd
iy of May, 1966, considered the recommendation of the Planning
mm i s s i on.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Citj
f Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentatii\
ap of SANDALMOOD BALE SUBDIVISION, subject to the following requirc
ents and conditions being performed by the Subdivider:
1. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision shall be
upplied by the Carlsbad City Water Department.
2. All buildings constructed in this subdivision shall be
ewered by the Carlsbad Public Sewer System.
3. Sewer and water lines shall not be laid in the same trench
n any part of this subdivision.
4. Proper drainage shall be maintained throughout the subdivi
ion so as to prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water.
5. One (1) Standard six-inch (6") fire hydrant shall be locat
it the corner of James Drive and Basswood Avenue.

10. All distribution utility facilities within the boundaries
of the subdivision shall be placed underground as required by
Ordi nance.
11. Ornamental street lighting shall be provided as required
by Ordinance.
12. A grading plan shall be submitted as required by Ordinance
prior to is ance of building permits on any of the lots.
13. Location, grade and details of proposed improvements as
indicated upon the tentative map will be subject to revisions as
required for improvement plans,, and approval of the map will not
imply acceptance as submitted.
14. All improvements shall comply with the standard plans and
specifications of the City of Carlsbad.
15. Street paving shall consist of two (2) inches of asphaltic
concrete with stone chip seal coat laid upon four (4) inches of
decomposed granite base material on approved subgrade.
16. Type "G" concrete curb and gutter shall be-inS;
all streets. Concrete cross gutters shall be six (6) feet wide and
located as required for drainage.
17. Sidewalks shall be five (5) feet in width nd located
contiguous to the curb throughout the subdivision.
18. All required street name signs, barricades and safety
devices shall be installed.
19. Surface drainage of storm waters in Sandalwood Dale to
James Drive will be satisfactory.
20. Drainage improvements in James Drive and Basswood Avenue
shall include standard inlets and conduit to satisfactory discharge
points, or to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.
21. Water mains,, including one (1) inch diameter services to
each lot shall be constructed as required by the City.
22. Sanitary sewers, including required manholes and appurten-
ances with four (4) inch diameter service laterals for each lot
shall be constructed as required by the City.

23. Survey monuments and street trees shall be installed as

24. Alignment, location and grade of all improvements shall
he City Engineer.
25. Complete plans and specifications shall be submitted as
