RESOLUTION NO. 1361
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING
FINDINGS AND DECISIOM REGARDING CHANGE
IGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN DES-
FROM ZONE R-2 TO ZONE C-1.
WI-iEREAS, on the 10th day of January, 1967, the Carlsbad City
Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 484, which is herewith
referred to and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on February 7, 1967, a duly advertised public hearin
was held as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from
Zone R-2 to Zone C-1 of property described as:
Lots 15 through 22 of Palm Vista Subdivision,
Map 2969, and those portions of Lots 14 and 23 of Palm Vista Subdivision, Map 2969 not to be acquired by the California State Highway Depart- ment; also that portion of street shown as service road on Map 2969, Northwesterly of the planned re- alignment and widening of Tamarack Avenue, all in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California;
and
WHEREAS, the City Counci 1 received a1 1 recommendations and
heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change
of zone classification;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
DOES HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 484 constitute the
findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classifi-
cation is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance
No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby de-
clare its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposec
change of zone classification.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney is

hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No.
