RESOLUTION NO. 1364
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE GLTY OF CARLSBAD, APPROVI'NG ENTATIVE MAP OF TAMARACK 'PLAZA SUBDIVISI
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the
10th day of January, 1967, recommended to the City Council that the

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tenta-
tive map of Tamarack Plaza Subdivision, subject to the following
requirements and conditions being performed by the Subdivider:
1. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision shall be
supplied by the Carlsbad City Water Department.
2. All buildings constructed in this subdivision s
sewered by the Carlsbad Public Seuer System.
3. Sewer and water lines shall not be laid in the same trench
in any part of this subdivision.
4. Proper drainage shall be main ed throughout the subdivi-
sion 30 as to prevent ponding and/o surface water.
5. Access rights shall be waived on Sandra Place and on Jeffer-
son Street except for one commercial driveway.
That portion of the public ht of way adjacent to Tamaracl
Avenue shown to be vacated shall be done by street vacation pro-
ceedings and shall be concurrent with approval of the Final Map.
Four feet (4') of additional right of way on Jefferson Street shal'
be dedicated for street purposes.
6. All distribution utility facilities within the boundaries
of the subdivision shall be placed underground as required by
Ordinance.
T. Ornamental street lighting shall be provided as required
by Ordinance.

8. A grading plan shall be submitted as required by Ordinance
prior to issuance of ilding permits on any of the lots.
9. Location, grade and details of proposed improvements as.
indicated upon the Tentative Map will be subject to revisions as
required for improvements plans, and approval of the map will not
imply acceptance as submitted.
10. All improvements shall comply with the standard plans and
specifications of the City of Carlsbad.
11. Street paving shall consist of two inches (2") of asphaltic
concrete with stone chip seal coat laid upon four inches (4") of
decomposed granite base material on approved subgrade in Jefferson
Street to the centerline of the road, with transitions as required.
Street paving shall consist of three inches (3") of asphaltic con-
crete with stone-chip seal coat laid upon a minimum of six inches
(6") of decomposed granite base material on approved subgrade in
Tamarack Avenue to the edge of thee existing pavement, with transi-
tions as required.
12. Type ''GI' concrete curb and gutter shall be installed in
Tamarack Avenue and Jefferson Street.

19. Alignment, location and grade of all improvements shall be
subject to approval of the City Engineer. Complete plans and spec-
ifications shall he submitted as required for checking and approval
before construction of any improvement is commenced.
20. The subdivider shall furnish the U. S. Post Office,
Carlsbad, California, with a copy of the final subdivision map.
21. Subdivider shall install curb, gutter and sidewalks on the
Hesterly side of Jefferson Street from the Southerly boundary of
Jefferson Street School to Tamarack Avenue and shall include such
improvements on his improvement plans, and shall execute an agree-
ment to install such improvements, satisfactory in form, to the
City Attorney.
22. Subdivider shall install asphaltic concrete sidewalks on
the Westerly side of Jefferson Street from the Northerly boundary
of the Jefferson Street School to Magnolia Avenue, and shall exe-
cute an agreement to install such improvements, satisfactory in
form, to the City Attorney.
23. Subdivider shall secure a building permit for the uses
mentioned in the Precise Plan for the subject property on or before
February 7, 1968, and shall have said construction completed on or
before August 7, 1968, or in the event said permit is not so obtained
or said construction not so completed, shall plant and maintain
lawn in the area not so improved.

BE'IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed
