RESOLUTION NO. 1842
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING CHANGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM ZONE R-1 TO RD-M.
of zone classification;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Plan-
ning Commission contained in Resolution No. 698 constitute the
findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classi-
fication is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance
No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Cl'ty Council does hereby
declare its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of April, 1969, the Carlsbad City -1
Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 698, which is herewith-
referred to and made a part hereof; and
9 I! WHEREAS, on May 4, 1971, a duly advertised public hearing I
10 I/ was held as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from I
11 Zone R-1 to RD-M(Residentia1 Density-Multiple) Zone on property I1 I 1211 described as:
Southeasterly one-half of the Northeastekly one-half of Lot 2 in Block "U" of Palisades No. 2 Map No. 183, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California; also being Parcel 11, Book 206, Page 9, of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 4th day of May, 1971, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen McComas, Jardine, Castro and Lewis.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Mayor Dunne.
