A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING CREDIT PURCHASE OF VARIOUS EQUIPMENT
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve

as follows:
1. That the City purchase
(a) Wayne Model 16T318 Brush Chipper @ $4,875.15
(b) Halan Model 89-41 Aerial Lift mounted on 1970 International Model #1600 (3 $19,155.71

(c) SCM 314 Calculator (3 $748.65
2. That City pay for said purchase with the.pr0ceed.s of
loans from United States National Bank in the same
by authorized and directed on behalf of the City to exe-
cute Promissory Note covering repayment of said sum;
to execute a Security Agreement securing repayment and
to execute a Uniform Commercial Code financing statement i/

form UCC 1 in regard to said security.
4. That this authorization to borrow is made on the under-
standing that the City has and will maintain at all times
until payment of this Note in full, sufficient uncommitte
funds with which to pay said Note in full.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held 18th day of May , 1971, by the following vote,
AYES! Councilman Dunne, McComas Jardine and Lewis
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Castro
