RESOLUTION NO. 1916
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING CHANGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
MULTIPLE). CARLSBAD FROM ~-i TO RD-M (RESIDENTIAL DENSITY-
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of October, 1971, the Carlsbad City
Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 728, which is herewith
referred to and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of November, 1971, a duly advertised
public hearing was held as prescribed by law to consider the re-
classification from R-1 to RD-M (Residential Density-Multiple)
Zone, and that the zoning map referred to in Section 21.06.030 of
said Ordinance No. 9060, as amended, be changed accordingly on the
following described property:
A portion of Tract 231 of Thum Lands in the
City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according to map thereof No. 1681, filed in the office of the County Recorder on December 9, 1915; also known as Assessor's Parcels 9, 11, 12, 13, 24, 25, Page 28, Book 204, and more particularly described in application on file in the City Clerk's Office.
WHEREAS, the City Council received a1 1 recommendations and
heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change
of zone classification;
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Plann-
ing Commission contained in Resolution No. 728 constitute the
findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certified that the approval of the proposed change of zone classi-
fication is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance
No. 9060 as amended.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
ieclare its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the
lroposed change of zone classification.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Zity Council held on the 2nd day of Novembers 1971, by the followin
iote, to wit:
AYES: Cmn. Dunne, PAlcComas, Castro and Lewis.
NOES : None.
ABSENT: Cmn. Jardine.
