A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CALL A SPECIAL ELECTION IN CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS TO SAID CITY, PRO- POSED TO BE ANNEXED THERETO, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS RESIDING IN SAID TERRITORY THE
TORY SHALL BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE
WHEN AND WHERE ANY PERSON OWNING REAL PROPERTY WITHIN SUCH TERRITORY MAY APPEAR BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL AND SHOW CAUSE WHY SUCH TERRITORY SHOULD NOT BE ANNEXED.
QUESTION OF WHETHER OR NOT SAID TERRI-
WHEREAS, this City Council has duly received a petition
iigned by not less than one-fourth of the qualified electors
3esiding within the territory known as the "East Carlsbad
innexation No. 2.12", as shown on the records of the San
liego County Registrar of Voters, and containing a description
